Good system, great price : Glidecam 4000 Pro Stabilizer System for Medium Sized Video Cameras up to 10 Pounds
I found this this really heavy. I was able to balance my Canon Mark ii 5d, with a 70mm-200mm lens on it; took about an hour. Spent another 4 hours walking around with it; I had trouble with drift; even the wind can cause camera drift, had very little usable footage. If you want to use this, and make shots like you see on you tube, you will need the body pod vest to stabilize, (unless of course, your feet don't touch the ground as you walk and you have arms like those guys that always seem to be in the gym looking at their biceps). I didn't realize this. . why they don't just say, you need the vest, in the item description is beyond me. Good luck, as for me, I am considering purchasing the vest, it would be fun and cool, but to shell out another $200? Is it worth $500+? Maybe I'll cancel my Comcast cable for 2 months, that will save me about $300!

cool but room for improvement : Samsung SSG-2200KR Rechargeable Child 3D Glasses
My husband bought 2 of these for our 2 boys when he bought a Samsung 7000 series 3D TV last week. They didn't work even while direct charging/watching 3D movie at same time or after charging overnight via the USB cable. Not sure if also blurry since they weren't working or they are blurry when they do work. Also poorly designed...why can't any 3D glasses be made with a slideable on/off switch instead of a button??? Poor design, especially when you want to make sure they are off, not wasting battery life, when not in use. The on/off instructions are poor anyway...push button and you see red light for them to be on (not even a green light (like the SSG-3100GBs that came with the starter kit--and now one of those 2 don't work either--don't think it ever did during 1st use last week))...and then to turn them off, you're supposed to hold the button for 1.5 seconds??... very poor design--not user-friendly and they don't even work with our 7000 TV that the specs say they are supposed to work with....(note this is the same review that I posted on bestbuy.com)

Simply Amazing Picture : Samsung UN55C6500 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV (Black)
On the surface this is a great TV, excellent quality and extremely thin. However after watching it a while, you will notice whenever your movie fades to black, which is usually quite often, you will notice how poor the backlighting is. You won't see a completely black screen, rather light clouds all over it, that will annoy and spoil your viewing experience. These clouds are evident during regular play, but not so distinctive as when the whole image is black or dark.

I contacted Samsung and they wasted my time on the phone for an hour trying to reset the image settings and playing with the sharpness and contrast, which I obviously knew had nothing to do with the problem. Finally they had me schedule a tech to come and look at it, which I had to take an unpaid day off work just to meet with them because they wouldn't give me a specific time of day. And of course when he did come, it only took him 2 minutes to diagnose the problem as being poor quality panel. Or rather saying it's just the "characteristics" of the panel. He took pictures of it and said he would send them to Samsung to determine if they would replace, and to no small surprise they said no, that's just the "characteristics" of the panel.

I'm really disappointed in Samsung, considering they don't stand by the quality of their products, and offer such poor customer service. This TV was a huge investment for me, and it's really discouraging to spend that kind of money on something and not be satisfied, and have no option but just to live with it. I can't return it because it took so long for them to come look at it, that it's beyond the return period. not to mention shipping would cost so much.

Don't make the mistake I did and count on Samsung being quality.

Great image, poor "feel" in your hand : Canon VIXIA HV30 MiniDV High Definition Camcorder with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom
Everything you read about this camera is true. I owned one for a couple of days and the picture was extraordinary... the camera was a breeze to use...

And then I turned up the audio. Whoa. What's that humming?!

Now, I had seen plenty of reviews (even on the older HV20) warning of a little tape noise in the audio. I own two other Mini DV cameras, and you do hear a little bit of the mechnism working. But this is different. It's disruptive. And I'm not alone in my thinking here. Do some digging and you'll find a few other reviews cropping up online with this complaint now.

If audio's not a big deal to you, or you plan on using extrenal mics, I'd say this is still an insanely great camera for you. But if you're getting it to grab baby's precious moments or anything like that, I have to strongly warn against getting this due to the tape noise in the audio. I consider it a deal-breaker.

On the upside, I'd like to note that I got a great deal on this camera using one of Amazon's partners on here, Butterfly Photo, and they were prompt, courteous, and easy to deal with when I returned the camera. Recommended. I'll likely be using them again to order my new camera (gonna give the HF100 a try instead... possibly an ever-so-slightly less perfect picture quality, but most reviewers are saying no moving parts = prestine audio and for me that makes it a far better overall final product.)
